當今世界，隨著人工智能技術的成熟，城市管理正在步入“智慧”時代，人工智能作為智慧城市的關鍵核心，將迎來全新的發展機遇與挑戰。在技術創新的不斷驅動下，智慧城市管理也將邁向更高層級，人工智能、“互聯網+”、5G通信等更多前沿技術將被引入智慧城市領域，新一代信息技術與現代城市深度融合，共同促進城市精細化管理，推動城市高效運轉和可持續發展。
為加快推進智慧城市管理與服務，不斷提升城市信息化整體水平，“2018智慧城市管理與服務國際大會”（ATCI 2018）將于7月在中國上海召開，會議將聚焦于人工智能方法研究及其在城市管理與服務中的應用，匯集國內外知名專家學者智慧，針對相關前沿技術、產品創新、產業發展與應用進行深入探討，促進學術交流與合作，推動科研成果服務社會，助力政府治理與政策制定。
